Welcome to the Beavercreek Athletic Department

Welcome to the Beavercreek Athletic Department! This page provides important information for student-athletes and families, including how to register for a sport, eligibility requirements, athletic fees, ticket information, codes of conduct, and available middle school and high school athletic programs. Families are encouraged to review these resources carefully and complete all required steps in Final Forms before participating in athletics.

How to Register for Athletics

  • The first step in receiving information about Beavercreek athletic teams is to register through FinalForms. Families should create a parent account and password.

Click here to Create Your Account

  • The next step is for both the parent/guardian and student-athlete to complete and electronically sign all required FinalForms documents. Be sure to select all sports the student plans to participate in or may be interested in during the school year, as important updates and communication from coaches and the athletic department are sent through FinalForms.

All student-athletes are also required to submit an updated physical each school year. Physical forms must be completed by a physician and uploaded to the student’s FinalForms account. The required form can be found on the final tab while completing the online registration process.

  • Athletic Fees

Athletic participation fees are due after tryouts have concluded and a student has officially been selected for or joined a team.

    Pay-to-Participate Fees

    Middle School Athletics

    • $150 per sport/season
    • Individual student maximum: $300

    High School Athletics

    • $250 per sport/season
    • Individual student maximum: $500
    • Family maximum: $750

Please note that some athletic programs may require additional items such as team apparel, warm-ups, or other equipment. Many teams also participate in fundraising activities to help support uniforms, equipment, and program needs. Coaches will share additional information regarding team expectations and fundraising opportunities during parent meetings.

Middle School Athletic Participation

Beavercreek Middle School athletic programs are open to eligible 7th and 8th grade students from Ankeney, Coy, and Beavercreek, as well as Beavercreek residents attending Dayton Regional STEM School, private schools, or homeschool programs.

Students attending local parochial schools may also participate in Beavercreek middle school athletics if their school does not offer the sport in which they are interested.

  • Student-athletes must meet academic eligibility requirements established by Beavercreek City Schools and the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA).

    Middle School Eligibility

    Student-athletes must:

    • Pass at least 4 classes
    • Maintain a minimum 1.5 GPA

    High School Eligibility

    Student-athletes must:

    • Pass at least 5 classes
    • Maintain a minimum 1.5 GPA

Additional eligibility requirements are outlined in the student handbook.

Eligibility is based on final quarter grades listed on each academic report card. Seventh-grade students begin the school year without a previous eligibility grade, while eighth-grade students begin with eligibility based on fourth quarter grades from the prior school year. Eligibility checks continue throughout the year at the end of each academic quarter.

Families are encouraged to review the school calendar, as academic quarters may end during athletic seasons. Any changes to final report card grades must be approved by the principal and counselor.

  • Band and choir are considered co-curricular activities and may take priority over extracurricular athletic events. Student-athletes are responsible for meeting expectations related to academics, athletics, and co-curricular commitments such as concerts and performances.

  • Student-athletes who are absent from school for more than half of the school day due to illness are not permitted to participate in practices or contests that day. Students must attend more than half of the school day to remain eligible for participation.

Absences related to medical or dental appointments may be excused and will not affect athletic participation eligibility. All district attendance policies still apply.

  • Beavercreek City Schools welcomes students, families, and community members to support our student-athletes throughout the year.

Students may also be connected with a Prevention/Intervention Coordinator to provide support, education, and available resources.

  • Athletics are an extension of the educational experience, and all attendees are expected to demonstrate respectful and appropriate behavior.
